Description

Bowne restored the façade and renovated the interior of this historic building on the main commercial street in Oyster Bay, NY. In keeping with the village character, the exterior aesthetic was maintained, while new windows, flashing, stone restoration, masonry waterproofing and roofing provided a durable and long-lasting building envelope. Structural upgrades, new fire stairs, elevator, heating, air conditioning, electrical service upgrade, and new gas service, lighting, and plumbing made this 1890’s building practical, functional and efficient for service in the new millennium.
