Site Design for Harbor Ridge Estates Description 
Bowne worked closely with the developers of Harbor Ridge Estates to prepare and develop the site, which consists of 125 single-family homes, a mid-rise condominium, and a community center on 28 acres in Port Washington, NY. The site also includes recreational facilities consisting of outdoor and indoor swimming pools, health club and ballroom.
The infrastructure was designed by Bowne’s engineers and it involved grading, drainage and sewer design to accommodate the 125 homes, condominium, community center, and approximately 9000 lf of roadway. The drainage system design consisted of drywell fields with a piped overflow system. The drainage system was designed to meet Town of North Hempstead and Nassau County Planning Commission drainage/engineering standards. In addition, Bowne designed the 1700 ft. long, 20 ft. high retaining wall that separates the Town golf course from Harbor Ridge Estates. Bowne Services
