We are currently seeking a full time Senior Systems Analyst to work as part of our team.

The Senior Systems Analyst is the key technical lead on a project who performs complex information systems analysis and design tasks. Working with subject matter experts the Senior Systems Analyst works with and directs these individuals in application and database design and implementation activities. The Senior Systems Analyst also participates in the development, modification and maintenance of complex application programs.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

	Formulate and develop project plans and objectives, information system architecture, application program requirements and design and database structure and design.
	Conduct business process analysis, needs assessment, requirements definition and design studies for complex spatial information system projects. Compile and document results and designs.
	Participate in the development, installation and testing of complex, enterprise-wide systems. Survey, evaluate and determine the feasibility of various hardware and software alternatives. Prepare recommendations and procurement specifications.
	Additional responsibilities may include supervision of one or more project teams, project management, business development, client relations, and technical staff supervision.

Required Skills and Experience:

	Graduate degree with major course work in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
	Five (5) years of relevant experience in requirements analysis, system design, relational database technology, design techniques and programming.
	Experience with geographic information systems and spatial concepts are a plus.
	Knowledge of the methods and procedures required to design and implement application programs in large, integrated information systems environments.
	Ability to understand and analyze complex systems analysis and design problems.
	Ability to understand, analyze, perform and oversee advanced information system project tasks in a timely fashion.
	Ability to plan, organize, perform or supervise the performance of various information system project activities.
	Ability to perform or oversee database administration and design functions.
	Ability to express oneself effectively, both orally and in writing.
