Water Billing System
Locust Valley (NY) Water District
Description
The Water Billing System was developed as an upgrade to an existing DOS based
application being used by the Water District. While the upgraded application provided
the same core functionality as the existing DOS based application, it presented the
information through a user friendly graphical user interface and provided enhanced reporting
capabilities. The combination of these two enhancements enabled the Water District to more
efficiently and effectively service their customers. The system also provided the Water
District the capability to access and prepare customized reports at a click of the button
that had not been available before.
