Project Scorecard
New York City Mayor's Office of Operations
Description
Bowne was selected by the Mayor’s Office of Operations to redesign the Project Scorecard
application, a street and sidewalk cleanliness inspection and rating system.
Project Scorecard collects, analyzes, reports and maps daily cleanliness ratings for
Sanitation and Business Improvement districts in all five boroughs of New York City.
Inspectors from the Mayor’s Office utilize hand-held computers to record visual ratings of
streets and sidewalks on pre-determined routes throughout the five boroughs. The ratings are
downloaded to a database at the Mayor’s Office of Operations. Web-enabled reports are produced
periodically for the Department of Sanitation to review the effectiveness of street cleaning
operations. These reports are distributed by the Mayor’s Office of Operations and published
in the Mayor’s Management Report.
