Geodatabase Development
Description  Bowne performed a series of data
conversion and migration tasks to move the City of New Rochelle into an ESRI
Geodatabase Model. The tax map activity consisted of migrating existing AutoCAD
drawings to Geodatabase, developing a standard tax map plotting mapsheet, and training
City personnel on direct Geodatabase editing using ArcGIS editing tools. The City
now maintains their tax maps in a digital environment, using in-house resources.

The infrastructure data conversion consisted of scanning and registering source
record plan data and using heads up digitizing
and ArcGIS. Using this process, Bowne collected data on sanitary sewer and drainage
pipes and structures, as well attribute data such as pipe diameter and material.
